WebMD changes name, triples profit
WebMD Corp. said Thursday that it will now operate under the name Emdeon Corp., and reported second-quarter earnings that nearly tripled over year-ago results. The company is changing its name to avoid confusion with its WebMD Health unit. Its ticker symbol will remain HLTH.
