MED3000, Inc.,
a health care management and technology company, says it has become
a major stakeholder in Scottsdale, Ariz.-based InteGreat Concepts,
Inc., a developer of browser-based electronic health record (EHR)
systems for physician practices. Under the agreement, MED3000
says, it will provide InteGreat with "substantial" capital
and knowledge resources for its next generation of product improvements.
In addition,
the firm says, InteGreat will have full access to MED3000's resources
in the areas of advanced data warehouse reporting, disease management,
population health management and predictive health modeling. MED3000
reports that it will now include InteGreat's EHR IC-Chart and
other InteGreat products in its portfolio of application service
provider technology product offerings.
MED3000 says
that InteGreat's modular IC-Chart provides browser-based access
to clinical data, including patient demographic information, laboratory
reports, transcribed documents, radiology reports and a health
summary. IC-Chart's Provider Work List and Clinical Messaging
help to streamline communications between clinicians and support
staff and also provide electronic signature and security for HIPAA
compliance, according to the firm.
Financial
details of the investment were not disclosed.
